Goodwillista blogger knows how to score the best fashion deals
Danielle is a too cute for school fashion blogger who prides herself on her awesome fashion for great prices. That is why she decided to start her blog, Goodwillista. She loves a good bargain and “clearance” is her favorite word. But if you check out her blog, her budget savvy style looks like a million bucks. Meet Danielle …
Where I’m based: Louisiana
How long I’ve been blogging: Since July of 2012
Blog/business basics: I started Goodwillista to show off my thrifted and bargain finds, and to inspire others that you don’t have to spend much to be a fashionista.
What’s the story about your blog’s name? I kept getting compliments on things I was wearing and it always happened to be something from the Goodwill — then somehow the name Goodwillista came to mind!
What do you enjoy most about blogging? I love hearing about how I inspired others. I love the emails coming in saying “I saw your blog, so I went to Goodwill and found [insert something awesome here]!”
Other blogs I love: I read so many blogs! A few personal faves would be: Writes Like a Girl, Kristina in Retroworter, My New Favorite Outfit, Rachel Sayumi and Her Trash My Treasure — ok maybe that was more than a few!
Guilty pleasure: Terrible TV shows like Dance Moms and Toddlers & Tiaras
Last thing I bought: A neon pink Gap skirt at Goodwill and for only $3.49!
How’s married life? I love it!
What’s the best deal you’ve found recently? I recently scored a black and white striped shirt for $2.97 and an army green vest for $3.99 at JC Penney!
