If Santa left something out of your stocking, now’s the time to go and get it.
Macy’s “One day sale” is Thursday, Dec. 26 and includes 20 percent off select women’s clothing, up to 40 percent off select kitchen gadgets, 40 to 65 percent off coats and up to 75 percent off select bedding and towels.
However, if you’re still sorting through your gifts or not ready to face the mall again just yet, you’re still in luck. Macy’s “Week of Wonderful” kicks off Friday, Dec. 27 and runs through Thursday, Jan. 2.
Capitalizing on the tendency for many to take the time between Christmas and New Year’s Day off from work, Macy’s brings in an assortment of fresh merchandise to lure customers during that stretch.
“Last year, Macy’s created ‘Week of Wonderful’ to make this popular, post-holiday shopping time even more fun and helpful for customers,” Martine Reardon, Macy’s chief marketing officer, said. “In this ‘national vacation week’ just following Christmas, we’re able to offer new merchandise in our stores, so shoppers can find anything that may not have made it under the tree, with the latest styles from top designers and must-have items for the whole family.”
Some examples of the new additions to stores include:
- The Calvin Klein colorblocked bomber jacket for women, $159.50
- An I.N.C. triple row pendant necklace, $39.50
- A MICHAEL by Michael Kors large jet set tote, $348
- A men’s Adidas ultimate zip wind jacket, $55
- New Ralph Lauren shirts, tees and jeans for kids are in stock, ranging from $35 to $45
There are also new items for the home as part of the “Week of Wonderful”. For example, a Martha Stewart Collection 6-quart collector’s enameled cast iron casserole dish for $149.99 and an I.N.C. Ava comforter cover (full/queen size) for $99.99.
