3 incredible Fourth of July firework displays
By Aimee Heckel
If you’re looking for a reason to travel across the country, what better reason than fireworks?
Some of the most patriotic — and pyrotechnical — cities across the nation hold incredible parties, parades and fireworks displays for the Fourth of July.
Here are the three best Fourth of July parties worth visiting:
1. New York. Of course. The famous Macy’s fireworks display in the Big Apple is well known around the world. In its 37th year, this year’s celebration is set to be the biggest and best yet.
Grammy-winning musician, Usher, is set to inspire and direct this year’s 25-minute fireworks show. In addition, the all-star line-up includes Mariah Carey, Tim McGraw and Nick Cannon.

2. Addison, Texas. Everything is bigger in Texas, right? Addison’s famous Kaboom Town Independence Day party starts at 5 p.m. July 3, and runs through midnight. This fireworks display repeatedly has been named one of the best..
The 30-minute show is choreographed to music. Grab food, listen to live music and ooh and awe at an airplane show.

3. Boston. This well known fireworks show, the Boston Pops Firework Spectacular, is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The celebration will feature Grammy winner Susan Tedeschi, musician Howie Day and recording artist Ayla Brown. Hundreds of thousands of people come out for the celebration on the river.
