4 summer fashion and beauty launches to swoon over
We love a good collaboration. Whether it’s our favorite country singer teaming with a hip-hop artist for a song that will become our new guilty pleasure or one of our blogger crushes partnering with a great brand for a capsule collection, we’re all aboard for the fresh takes that come alive when brands and artists collide in the name of creativity.
Here’s a look at a few of our favorite beauty and fashion collaborations that are forthcoming or already available.
- OPI X Coca-Cola. As Diet Coke addicts, we’re particularly inspired by the sparkly silver polish that will be a part of the 9-set nail polish line. There’s also a classic Coca-Cola red, a red and black Coke Zero-inspired polish and a moody green with Sprite as a muse. Just don’t, you know, sip on your nail polish. The polish collection debuts in June. Nail lacquer bottles cost $9 a piece.
- Cupcakes and Casherme X Club Monaco. Blogger Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere is a daily must-read on our blogger list. She’s channeled her creativity into a Club Monaco collection, with classics like a crisp white button-up shirt and a trench coat as well as some “wow” pieces like a leather pencil skirt and the “Emily” dress with elegant jewels and a daring scooped back design.
- Banana Republic X Marimekko. A sneak peak at the limited-time summer collection shows unexpected color combinations and patterns inspired by ancient folk art and summery patterns of dots and circles. Banana Republic has teamed up with Marimekko, a Finnish design and fashion house, for the ultimate summer capsule collection that includes 27 pieces. You can preview the collection here. The collection becomes available online on May 22. You’ll earn Cash Back and find out about exclusive deals when you shop at Banana Republic with ShopAtHome.com.
- Cuyana X Real Simple. A magazine best known for getting our lives organized (did you know an ice cube tray can double as an earring organizer?!) and lending us delicious weeknight recipes is showing us it’s hip to the fashion game, too. Real Simple readers will be delighted to see that the magazine has partnered with Cuyana, a San-Fran-based apparel brand for a simple (of course!), but elegant collection that includes silk slip dresses, structured handbags and striped silk scarves. You need to sign up with Cuyana to get an early peep at the collection.
