Wondering which airlines offer passengers the most legroom, without too much of an extra cost? Here are a few of the better options, according to the Huffington Post.
Delta’s Economy Comfort seats boast a “pitch” of 34 to 35 inches, up to four inches more than other regular planes.
Frontier offers Stretch seating on some planes, which can span up to 38 inches. That’s a delightful seven inches more than regular. You might even get off this plane feeling like a human, not cattle.

So which airline’s regular economy seats are the worst?
Some travelers say Spirit Airlines, which has some seats that don’t recline and only offer 28 inches between seats. According to SeatGuru, Delta isn’t much better, with 30 inches of space.
Let’s stop for a moment to note that the average adult femur bone is about 19 inches long. That’s just the bone. Not counting the other bones, hips, buttocks, flesh and muscles on top of it.
But unfortunately, one airline doesn’t offer less space than another, across the board. It ultimately varies from plane to plane.
