Where I’m based: Boise, Idaho
How long I’ve been blogging: On my main blog, since November, 2011, but I started a few other blogs before that in 2010.
Blog basics: My blog is the “life and sauce” of me — Annelise Rowe. I cover topics from my personal style, beauty, fitness, inspiration, travels and daily thoughts. It’s like the little things — the sauce — that mean the most to me!
What do you like most about blogging? For me, blogging is a way to express myself — like an online diary of sorts. I try to be very open and honest with my writing, and write everything from the tough stuff to the best moments. I love putting my thoughts out there and interacting with the blogging community, who is so supportive and uplifting no matter what. Blogging isn’t just a hobby, it’s a community, and one that I’m so thankful for.
Guilty pleasure: If I could have a massage every single day of the week, I would take it! Anything that involves pampering (massages, facials, mani/pedi’s, getting my hair done) is always on my wish list.
Last thing I bought: A “Whidbey Island” sweatshirt in Washington. It was neon pink and so cozy.
How would you define your style? I’m a laid-back, casual, chic kind of girl.
What fitness routines do you enjoy doing the most? I’m currently training for a marathon, so running seems to be my go-to work out of choice these days. Though if I were going to pick, I’d take a high-intensity personal training session any day of the week. If I’m at the gym on my own, I always mix high-intensity intervals into my lifting to increase calorie burn and help me tone up.
