Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day is Tuesday, April 8
By Jennifer Osieczanek
Ben & Jerry’s has a video on its website to explain the glory that is Free Cone Day to newbies. In it, one woman says Free Cone Day should be a national holiday.
If you’re looking for someone to disagree with her, you’d better look elsewhere.
Every year Ben & Jerry’s serves up free cones in its more than 700 shops in 26 countries around the world. The company started the event to celebrate its first anniversary in business back in 1979. Now, 25 years later, the ice cream giant serves more than a million free cones during its annual event.
This year the free ice cream will be scooped on Tuesday, April 8. Simply head to your nearest Ben & Jerry’s scoop shop location between noon and 8 p.m. to partake in the deliciousness. Not sure where the closest location is? Click here to find it.
Once you get there, save me a spot in line please! After all, my boss isn’t on board with the whole free ice cream merits its own national holiday thing just yet.
