Amazon is counting down to the big day with their Black Friday Deals Week. Plus, you can score free shipping on select items.
The Best Buy Black Friday 2012 ad has amazing deals like a Toshiba 40″ HDTV for $179.99, an Apple iPhone 4S for $99.99, and a Kindle Fire $159.99 (plus, you get a $30 Best Buy Gift Card).
Best Buy stores will be closed on Thanksgiving and open at midnight on Black Friday.
Dell is featuring an Inspiron 14z laptop with Intel Core i3, 4GB RAM and 500GB HD, all for just $299.99. That’s half price!
They’re also offering an Inspiron 660s desktop with Intel Celeron processor, 2GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive and Windows 8 for just $249.99. For just $100 more, you can get the 660s desktop with Core i3 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 1TB hard drive. A fantastic upgrade for the money.
Last year, Fry’s didn’t release their Black Friday ad until Nov. 18. Will we see it any earlier? We might, if the retail pressure is high enough.
Last year, Fry’s opened at midnight with one-day sale that featured a 50″ plasma HDTV for $449, an LG Blu-ray player for $38.99 and a 14.2 MP Samsung camera for $59.99.
This year, JCPenney has sworn off sales and coupons. How will that affect Black Friday? Well, JCPenney is putting a button on it.
Literally, they’ll be handing out 80 million holiday-themed buttons to customers starting on Black Friday. Each button has a code on the back, and the lucky customer can check online to find out if they’ve won merchandise, a gift card or even a trip to Disneyland.

Kmart will be open on Thanksgiving Day from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Then they’ll reopen at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving at 8 p.m., and stay open until 3 a.m. Friday. Two hours later, they’ll reopen at 5 a.m.
Believe it or not, Kohl’s is kicking off Black Friday with early specials on Wednesday, Nov. 21. But what, exactly, is on sale is a top secret until Nov. 18.
Kohl’s will be closed on Thanksgiving, and open at midnight for Black Friday.
On Black Friday, Kohl’s will have hot deals on 25 exclusive toys from Fisher-Price, VTech, Mattel and other favorites. And 10 of those deals will be available only online, which gives you the perfect opportunity to earn Cash Back when you shop at Kohl’s.
Old Navy plans to open about 780 shops on Thanksgiving this year, 30 more than last year.
Sears stores will open at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, and they’ll have a second sale at 4 a.m. on Black Friday.
This year, Staples is offering a Lenovo 12″ 1.7GHz Twist Core i5 4GB RAM 500GB HDD Ultrabook for $700. That makes it the lowest price on a Lenovo Twist Ultrabook anywhere.
Target stores will open at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and stay open until 11 p.m. on Black Friday.Their Black Friday ad shows doorbusters on every page, including an APEX 32″ HDTV for $147, a Nook Simple Touch for $49, and an XBox 360 Kinect Bundle for $199.99.
Toys R Us stores will have one round of “door busters” at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving and another at 5 a.m. on Black Friday.
Walmart stores will be opening at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, two hours earlier than last year. They’ll have three sales events:
• Event 1: Thursday, Nov. 22 at 8 p.m.
Electronics are definitely a highlight, with incredible deals on XBox 360, games, and DVDs.
• Event 2: Thursday, Nov. 22 at 10 p.m.
For one hour only, you are guaranteed to get special deals on the iPad 2, Emerson 32″ HDTV, and LG Blu-ray Player. Even if they run out, Walmart will have Guarantee Cards on hand. So get in line!
• Event 3: Friday, Nov. 23 at 5 a.m.
