Music videos make a comeback just in time for world to end
It’s been a while since music video debuts have captured the attention of a media-saturated public.
But recent releases from artists such as Miley Cyrus and Britney Spears have both viewers and the entertainment industry taking notice. Spears’ video, “Work B**TCH“, was launched during the recent iHeartRadio Music Festival and Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” crushed the 24-hour record for views on Vevo.
However, both videos received much of their publicity (notoriety?) due to their explicit nature.
While the group’s name may suggest otherwise, we prefer the more wholesome band Barenaked Ladies, who capped off its recent social media campaign teaming up with RoosterTeeth on the amazing video for the song “Odds Are” from the new album “Grinning Streak.”
