CPA fashion blogger knows budget and style
Red Tag Chic Los Angeles is Rebecca Sullivan’s blog, which acts as her creative vehicle where she journeys into fashion, shopping, deals, beauty and more. As a CPA she knows the importance of a budget, and as a fashionista she knows the importance of style. She combines these two facets of her life to create a wallet-friendly, stylish closet. Meet Rebecca …
Where I’m based: Los Angeles
How long I’ve been blogging: Since April 2012
Blog/business basics: It’s basically about my personal style, finding the best deals and how to look good for less.
What do you enjoy most about blogging? I enjoy the dressing up part and the writing part of course, but what I love the most are the people (fellow bloggers, owners, PR people) I meet which turn into good friends over time!
Other blogs I love: OMG this is a lot and Your Space is Not Enough
Guilty pleasure: From the classic chocolates to the macabre TV show The Walking Dead.
Last thing I bought: Badgley Mischka purse I bought on extreme markdown at Saks Off 5th outlet and a pair of Nine West suede/leopard wedges at Cabazon Premium Outlets.
Does living in LA influence your style? Oh yes a lot in terms of cultural diversity, weather and Hollywood of course!
What fall trends are you experimenting right now? I’m really not so much into trends. I just stay with my tried and tested textures like fur, leather, suede and velvet, then sprinkle in a few tweaks via accessories (especially statement accessories) to make it up-to-date.
What’s your favorite thing in your closet? I have a number of faves, which are mostly accessories: No. 1 is a Zara chain belt which I use with almost anything, two, Tory Burch Reva clutch which dresses up any look and three, J. Crew pave chain link bracelet
What’s the best deal you’ve ever gotten? I think it’s the Badgley Mischka purse I got at Saks Off 5th outlet last Labor Day!
