Delta becomes first airline to offer gate-to-gate in-flight WiFi
By Aimee Heckel
Businesspeople and moms traveling with antsy kids, rejoice! Delta Airlines recently announced it will allow passengers to use WiFi from gate to gate.
On Delta, you can now keep your smartphones, Kindles and other portable electronics running throughout the whole trip, connected with in-flight WiFi. Delta even offers power adapters to plug in and recharge while you fly. Some seats even feature USB ports.
How it works
Delta’s WiFi, Delta Connect, provides free content, from shopping to news to flight details. Take advantage of special shopping deals, and stay up to date on breaking news.
Want more? Buy an optional Gogo Internet session, which allows full access to the Internet. Buy this wifi pass before you leave or even onboard — only $14 for 24 hours of WiFi, even if you change planes.
Are you a frequent traveler? Buy a month wifi pass for $39.95, or a year pass for $469.
