Drink on It blogger spills on her daily adventures
Stephanie runs Drink On It, a lifestyle blog capturing everything from how she dealt with a recent breakup to teaching her adorable dog Walter to swim. We aren’t one to play favorites, but this Walter pup has the face of an angel. Meet Stephanie …
Where I’m based: I live in St. Louis. I’ve been here my whole life.
How long I’ve been blogging: I started blogging in November 2012. I honestly never thought it would amount to anything. But, it’s great!
Blog/business basics: My blog is about my life. I write about anything from: daily activities, to breakups, to things I like or don’t like, to my dog. Pretty much anything that fancies my mind that day or week.
Other blogs I love: Silly Incantations, Jaybird’s Flight, I Wore Yoga Pants To Work, Why Girls Are Weird, The Pink Growl and I could really go on all day, but I’ll stop.
Guilty pleasure: Pizza Lunchables — yes, at 27-years-old — I can’t get enough of them. As a matter of fact, I’m having one for dinner tonight.
Last thing I bought: Well, I just ordered some jewelry from Fifth & Mae and some clothes from Maurices. Actually, now I’m not allowed to buy anything else for myself until August. I spent too much money today!
Fav stores: Target, Fifth & Mae, Maurices and Forever 21
What’s your drink of choice? I’m not an alcoholic or anything, but I mean, the name of my blog is “Drink On It” so I definitely like some adult beverages. Anyway, fave alcoholic drink is Malibu Rum and fave non-alcoholic drink is either sweet tea or water.
What’s the best vacation you’ve ever been on? I haven’t been on a real vacation in a long, long time. But, I will have to pick the extended weekend I took back in 2008 when my best friend and I impulsively flew to Florida for four days. It was a blast! I think the randomness of it made it so great.
What’s your favorite Grey’s Anatomy episode? Wait, I have to pick one? Just one? I don’t know if I can do this, this sounds dark and twisty but I love the final 2 episodes of season six (it’s a two part episode, so I can pick both, right?). It’s the (episodes) where there is a shooter loose in the hospital. So dramatic and sad. I’ve probably watched those two episodes more than any other episode. But really, I love them all.
Tell us about Walter (your pup) … Oh, he’s precious. The love of my life. I got him when he was 12 weeks old. I actually saw him about a week before I got him and completely fell in love. I decided then and there that he would be mine someday. And, a week later, he was! He is a little over two-years-old now! He is the biggest snuggler, ever. He will cuddle up with anything in order to fall asleep (toys, pillows, blankets, people, etc.). He just loves it! Which is perfect for me because I love snuggling him. I might be a little obsessed with my dog, but I don’t care! I mean, have you seen his face? If I could be a stay at home dog mom, I totally would.
