Take a drive down Pink Avenue with Corinne Davis
Corinne Davis of Pink Avenue is taking us with her on her fashion journey and inspiring us along the way. She likes pink lipstick, good people and new trends! Meet Corinne …
Where I’m based: Bloomington, Ind. — where my husband goes to IU Law School. Just one year left!
How long I’ve been blogging: Since 2010, but seriously blogging? Just about two years.
Blog/business basics: Pink Avenue is a place where I like to share what I love and what I’m wearing. I’m a mother of one, so this blog is a fun creative outlet for me to work on — between nap times and diaper changes, of course.
What do you enjoy most about blogging? Interacting and collaborating with so many wonderful people and companies that I otherwise wouldn’t have known!
Other blogs I love: Cupcakes and Cashmere! It was the very first blog I ever started following and it inspired me to start my own.
Guilty pleasure: A pair of flannel pajamas and chocolate covered gummy bears. Need I say more?
Last thing I bought: A fabulous leopard clutch, which — both the leopard and the clutch — also happen to be other weaknesses of mine.
What motivated you to start your personal styling business? I had friends and family constantly ask me to help them with their closets, so the business just kind of evolved naturally from there. Plus, I love clothes and people so much, it just seemed like the right thing for me to do!
Accessory of choice: This is a tough one, but in my opinion, nothing beats out a fabulous pair of shoes!
What is your favorite pair of shoes in your closet? Oh don’t make me choose! They’re all my babies!
Do you think your daughter is going to grow up to be a fashionista? She already loves to play with my clothes and jewelry and is the best little shopper! On our shopping trips she walks around Nordstrom like she owns the place! It’s always a proud moment for me.
