Enhance your NFL gameday with handy gadgets from Amazon
A huge portion of America is gearing up for this year’s freshly minted football season, with plenty of games yet to be played and plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers and beers yet to be consumed. As you’re getting ready for tailgates and kickoffs, you might want to pack a few great gadgets with you to help you get the most out of every game.
We’ve narrowed down five gadgets you can snag from Amazon that will make everything from game-day grilling to nosebleed seats a little better.
In the parking lot
An essential part of many football games is the tailgate that precedes them. There are plenty of awesome tailgate gadgets out there, but surely among the coolest is the Blacktop 360 Party Hub Grill ($253). The handy grill lets you cook a whole bunch of different things at once, from hotdogs and hamburgers to onion rings and lots more. It even includes its own deep fryer, making it killer for those parking lot grill sessions.
Also great for tailgates is The Go Plate ($14). Filled with compartments for different foods, the plate’s center fits a beer bottle perfectly to turn it into a hyper-stable food-transporting disc of awesome.
In the stadium
We all know how uncomfortable spending hours sitting on hard bleachers can be, which is why you might want to grab the folding Oasis Stadium Seat ($50). It packs a cushion and a straight back, for a start, but what puts it over the top is the chair’s built-in (and detachable) cup holder.
For those times when your tickets aren’t so great, pick up a pair of Bushnell Falcon 7-by-35 Binoculars ($29). They’re relatively cheap but great for getting a better look at the action, even if it feels like you’re sitting in low orbit. Plus, they come with a protective case to minimize scratching and other damage.
Get connected
Snagging an iPhone 5 ($680 unlocked) might also be a good idea if you’re an avid game fan, especially if you’ve got more going on than just watching a game for entertainment. With apps such as Yahoo! Fantasy Football, you can use your smartphone to manage your fantasy football team while you’re watching, as well as to check up on stats and game news to make you the best fake manager you can be.
