Blog/business basics: My blog is a mixture between my personal style and life as a new mommy.

Dream job: Celebrity Stylist
What do you teach in high school fashion? What’s the curriculum? I teach the students the basics of sewing as well as how to create a garment using a pattern. My favorite project is The Junk to Funk garment where the students create a wearable garment from recycled materials and then showcase their designs in a fashion show at the end of the year.
What’s your most treasured sewing or crafting project you’ve done? My most treasured sewing project is a “here comes my mommy” sign I made for my son to hold on our wedding day.
Did your style evolve once becoming a mother? I feel my style is always evolving, but since becoming a mother I have definitely noticed a change in my style. These days I am definitely all about staple pieces that I can style in various ways. My closet has been revamped since becoming a mommy.
What’s one thing in your closet that you will never get rid of? I have a black leather jacket, biker style, that I will never be able to part with.
