What’s your best tip to moms wanting to look good but not able to pay an arm and a leg? Don’t just browse! Take an inventory of your closet before you go shopping and make a list of what you need. Clean out your closet of unworn and unneeded items at least once a year.
If you live in a climate where you have a summer wardrobe and a winter wardrobe, before you box up last season’s clothing, take out and get rid of whatever you didn’t wear. If you liked it and had something to wear it with, you would of worn it! When you get rid of unused items, you make room for new stuff.
When you are getting dressed in the morning, if you can’t find the perfect shirt to go with those new pants, write down exactly what you’d want and need. Then when you go shopping you can keep your eyes peeled for what you really need to complete your wardrobe rather than bringing home another piece of clothing that doesn’t go with anything else. Finally, set a monthly budget for yourself and don’t exceed it! Shop places like T.J. Maxx, Marshalls and Zulily to get huge discounts on the things you need.
What are you wearing this summer? Mainly my distressed Free People cutoff shorts with various bohemian styled, cotton blouses and tanks! I have been wearing my Sperry Boat Shoes a lot this summer too.
Who are your fashion icons? Audrey Hepburn
How would you define your style? My personal, everyday style is very casual, down to earth and bohemian.
What outfit of yours does your husband life the most? Any form fitting dress. My husband loves my butt and likes me to show it off!
