Free Golden Szechuan Fish at Panda Express is no joke on April 1
By Jennifer Osieczanek
Tuesday is April Fools’ Day, but not at Panda Express.
The American Chinese casual dining restaurant is celebrating “April Fish Day” instead. For customers that means a free serving of the restaurant’s newest entree, Golden Szechuan Fish, with any purchase.
Golden Szechuan Fish is “a lightly battered, wild North Pacific cod fillet tossed in a sizzling wok with crisp sugar peas, sweet red bell peppers and a zesty sauce,” according to the Panda Express website.
To get your free single serving of Golden Szechuan Fish present this coupon. It is good April 1 only and while supplies last. The offer is not valid at university, airport, casino, theme park or stadium locations.
By the way, some say that April Fools’ Day actually originated from a European custom in which one would put a paper fish on someone’s back and shout “April fish!” Not exactly a thrilling practical joke, but if it mean’s free food, we’ll bite.
