Fun Ways to Spend Mother’s Day
Have a Picnic
Breakfast in bed is a timeless Mother’s Day tradition, but why not switch it up and take advantage of some beautiful spring weather! Grab a picnic basket, blanket, and the makings of a tasty meal, then head outside to enjoy a nearby park or even your own backyard. Try Bed Bath and Beyond, Crate and Barrel, or Walmart for picnic supplies.
Make a Scrapbook
Spend the day reminiscing over your favorite memories by making a scrapbook together. This activity has the benefits of being both thoughtful, and super easy to pull off! Grab a scrapbook and some supplies from Michaels or Crate and Barrel, and print out some of your favorite photos together on Walgreens Photo or Shutterfly. You can spend some time building the scrapbook this year, then enjoy looking through it together for years to come!
Visit a Garden
Instead of buying a bouquet of flowers like usual, step it up a notch and take her to see some at a garden in your town! Not only will she get to enjoy some beautiful flowers, but you’ll both get the added bonus of a fun way to spend time together.
If she’s had a special project on the back burner or has been talking about taking up a new skill, make Mom’s day by helping her dreams become a reality! Grab some craft supplies from Michaels to help her finish what she’s been working on, or sign up for an online class from Craftsy so you can both become masters of the trade.
