Gameday Glam: How to look good while cheering on your team

(Add a Silver Crystal Logo Bead, made with Swarovski Elements to your charm necklace or bracelet … for good luck and a good look)

Sports and fashion don’t normally co-exist in the same sentence. But, while we’re in the midst of football season and basketball season is dribbling up behind us, we thought now would be a good time to explore a few fun gameday looks for sports fanatics — styles that strike the right balance of fan gear and fashion. Because, well, you never know when you’ll end up on the Jumbotron or kiss cam, right?
Colorblock
Go ahead and give that fan T-shirt a break and colorblock with your teams colors instead. For balmy autumn days, wear your team’s colors on a T-shirt with a looped scarf around your neck. Or, take advantage of the colored corduroys that are trending this season and colorblock them with a chunky knit sweater. For colder days, try pairing a colored pea coat with a knit hat.
Time travel
Cold-weather accessories this season are awfully reminiscent of another era. Take for instance this chunky knit hat with a vintage vibe we spotted at Kohl’s, where you’ll find more than 100 coupons and earn up to 3.5 percent Cash Back when you buy through ShopAtHome.com. A more understated knit beanie would look nice with loosely braided pigtails on a chilly Sunday.
Go glam
A statement necklace or bracelet with shimmering Swarovski crystals? Darling. Attach the themed bead to a charm necklace or bracelet.
Get cozy
Curling up on the couch to play armchair quarterback? Get comy why don’t ya’. We’re loving these faux fur microfiber booties or these snowflake, fair isle knit slippers that rep collegiate teams. And don’t forget to cuddle up in an ultrasoft blanket.
Following your team?
Ah-ha. You’re a serious fan. Find sports fan luggage to show your true fanhood — and include duffel bags, backpacks, and wheeled carry-ons.
