National Grandparents Day is Sept. 7, which gives you just under a week to find the perfect gift.
Studies show that grandparents continue to play an increasingly more important role in American families. The U.S. Census Bureau reported that 2.7 million grandparents were responsible for taking care of one or more grandchildren living with them in 2010.
Furthermore, the America’s Families and Living Arrangements study found that 10 percent of children in the United States were living with a grandparent in 2010.
