Hotels where kids stay free
By Melissa Brodsky
Traveling gets expensive, especially when taking the whole family. Between the food, lodging and visiting the sights, it can end up costing a small fortune. Or a large one, depending on what type of trip you’re on.
There are some hotel chains out there that understand the costs of travel therefore make it more desirable for you to book at their establishment because… the kids stay for free!
Holiday Inn and their resorts allow up to four kids, 12 and under, to eat free in their on-site restaurants. And, as long as they are sharing a room with their parents, kids 19 and under stay for free.
ExtendedStay Hotels which include Extended Stay America, Extended Stay Deluxe and Homestead are all free for kids 17 and under who are sharing a room with their parents.
Embassy Suites offers a complimentary HUGE breakfast daily and kids under 18 get to stay for free with their parents.
Hyatt hotels, kids under 18 stay for free if they share a room with adults. Also, the chain offers a discount on 2nd rooms to make the cost more manageable.
Some resorts, like the all-inclusive Occidental Hotels located in Mexico, the Caribbean and Costa Rica, kids stay, eat and are entertained for free.
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts have tons of free activities for kids, no additional cost if equipment is needed.
Many of the tropical hotels have an all-inclusive option as well. When traveling with kids, it makes sense to pick the all-inclusives because of everything they have to offer.
