Where I’m based: Pueblo, Colo. — for the time being.
How long I’ve been blogging: About four months.
Blog/business basics: Jessica Jean Blog is my place to talk about everything from fashion to food, to married life and anything else I feel like discussing. It has really become a creative outlet for me to share my personal style, and my love for savvy fashion finds with other bloggers whom I can connect with.
What do you enjoy most about blogging? There are so many things that I love about blogging, but I especially love meeting new people through the blogging world. I have met so many wonderful people through blogging and I have really enjoyed building these relationships. I am always looking for new people to meet and collaborate with!
Other blogs I love: Oh wow. This is hard. There are so many blogs that I read daily. So I am just going to list some of my daily reads: The Sweetest Thing Blog, The Start of the Shaw’s, Fashion Flirtation and xoxo Cleverly, Yours.
Guilty pleasure: The television show, Pretty Little Liars. I don’t watch TV often at all but this is something that I love to watch every week!
Last thing I bought: A knitted beret hat from Forever 21 for $5. I can’t wait until it’s fall so I can wear it!
What trend are you loving now? There have been so many amazing summer trends this season. I think my forever favorite trend for all seasons is pattern mixing. There is something about it that can be so appealing to the eye when done right — and it is so versatile. The possibilities for pattern mixing are endless!
What’s your favorite sport? Gymnastics — I don’t get to do very often anymore but when I do it is so much fun.
How’s paleo treating ya? If you aren’t familiar with the paleo diet, it’s a way of eating that takes all grains, dairy, sugar, soy and corn out of the equation. It is really hard sometimes but it has completely solved all of my health problems so it is very much worth it. I do allow myself to cheat once in a while though. Life is too short not to eat ice-cream.
What is your favorite dress in your closet? My chambray button up dress. It can be dressed-up and layered for all seasons and occasions. I don’t think it will ever go out of style.
We heard you are going to Italy next summer, what will you be doing there? Yes, I am so excited! My husband is minoring in Italian and he is studying abroad there. Since I am his wife I get to tag along. He gets to study and I get to explore. I cannot wait!
