Kohl’s Black Friday hours, policies, and tips
As if 24 hours of swimming through a sea of shoppers to snap up the best Black Friday deals wasn’t enough, Kohl’s is starting its Black Friday madness with early bird specials from Wednesday, Nov. 21, to Friday, Nov. 23. And on the actual Black Friday, its stores will open at midnight, before your turkey has even had a chance to settle in your stomach.
But even before early bird deals are announced, you can start getting your Friday on when deals for the day are announced Nov. 18 online. You may not be able to take advantage of them yet, but you’ll at least be ready when they come around and will also have additional time to price compare these deals with ones being offered by Dillards, Boscov’s and other retailers.
Kohl’s has already announced that it will offer deals on 25 exclusive toys from Fisher-Price, VTech, Mattel and more, on top of its other Black Friday Deals. Ten of these toy items will only be available online, making it that much easier to enjoy Black Friday from the comfort of your home computer. And if you’re in the store and want to cash in on these deals, its outlets will have free Wi-Fi, allowing you to shop on your smartphone while you stand in line waiting for a register.
And if all this bargain hunting isn’t enough to get your blood boiling for Black Friday, the retailer will be offering a Dream Receipts holiday promotion beginning on Black Friday and running through Christmas Eve. This promotion will give one shopper in every Kohl’s nationwide their purchase for the day for free. The retailer plans to pick up the tab for 36,500 shoppers total this holiday season, so you may not even need to worry about all the money and sleep you could be saving by shopping online.
Although if you’re taking advantage of the savings offered through the site’s email sales alerts, frequent free shipping offers and a bevy of Black Friday online deals, you may not give too much thought to missing out on the Dream Receipts promotion. At least until your receipt is emailed to you.
