The latter is from New York’s Dominique Ansel Bakery, which has created the Cronut, a doughnut/croissant hybrid, New York magazine reports. Fried, yet flaky? Must. Have. Now.
Fashion 3.1. Mark your calendars: Target announced its next designer collaboration will be with 3.1 Phillip Lim, according to USA Today. Due in stores Sept. 15, prices will start at $19.99.
They’re baaaack. Well, almost. NBC News reports Twinkies will return to store shelves by late July, along with other Hostess faves.

According to Reuters, U.S. families will spend an average of $1,139 this year, up 5 percent over 2012, Visa Inc’s third annual survey of prom spending survey finds. Um, our prom dress cost like $60, and we thought that was a lot.
Fly like a president. Got $50,000? Start bidding on Air Force One. The Huffington Post reports an airplane that “was part of Air Force 2 and may have acted as Air Force 1,” is up for grabs through GSA Auctions.
Lady Liberty. The gorgeous gal is back and better than ever. According to the Associated Press, the Statue of Liberty will reopen — appropriately enough — on July 4, after Superstorm Sandy caused her to close last October. Welcome back!
