Perfectly Coutured: A budget conscious blogger with plenty of style
Bethany of Perfectly Coutured loves shopping, but hates paying full price — and we agree. That’s why when we came across her Look for Less segment she runs on her blog, we were instantly hooked. She’s budget conscious and still looks like a million bucks. Meet Bethany …
Where I’m based: Dallas
How long I’ve been blogging: Since April of 2013
Blog/business basics: My blog’s main focus is on daily fashion, which also includes look-for-less finds.
What do you enjoy most about blogging? I love that it allows me to express my own personal style, and it shows others you don’t have to spend a fortune in order to look and feel your best.
Other blogs I love: There are too many I read on a daily basis to only list a few.
Guilty pleasure: My guilty pleasure is having dessert and cappuccino when dining out with my hubby.
Last thing I bought: A navy boyfriend blazer from Pink Slate Boutique to wear this fall.
Fav stores: J.Crew, Anthropologie, Tory Burch and of course Target!
Where did you develop your passion for fashion? I have always had a love for fashion, but I would say that it really developed while working retail in college.
Tell us about your look for less posts … If you’re like me, you probably love every item in J.Crew or Tory Burch, but unfortunately their prices aren’t exactly budget friendly — which is what led me on my quest to find look for less options. I don’t mind splurging on timeless pieces, but I do prefer to save when it comes to trendy items.
What trend have you tried that you never thought you would? I honestly would have never thought to mix prints/patterns up until this last year or so because I always played it safe, but I am so glad that I was inspired by fellow bloggers to do so!
If you had to wear only one kind of accessory for the rest of your life, what would it be? Oh gosh, this is super tough; I would choose statement jewelry (is that only one kind?) because it can really make a difference in the overall look of an outfit.
