Where I’m based: We are based in Westchester, New York
How long I’ve been blogging: I’ve been blogging for The Westchester Wedding Planner for a little less than a year.
Blog basics: The Westchester Wedding Planner connects brides to a handful of carefully chosen specialists in the wedding industry on a local level. We know how important your wedding day is. That’s why we are excited to bring you an exclusive group of wedding professionals that we highly recommend, so that you can plan your wedding day with confidence, style and ease. Because planning a wedding can be such an overwhelming process for brides, grooms and their families, our hope is that The Westchester Wedding Planner helps to streamline the process with our timelines, budget worksheets, ideas and inspiration, and our select vendor list. We blog about local vendors, wedding day decor ideas, inspiration, and anything that our local brides may find useful and helpful when planning their day.
Other blogs I love: We love Brooklyn Bride, Wedding Chicks, Pinterest, Color Palettes, Groom Advice, Rustic Wedding Chic, and Style Me Pretty New York.
My guilty pleasure: Chocolate soufflé with melted chocolate sauce.
Last thing I bought: The last memorable thing I recently bought was a silver key and chain in Cortona, Italy and a smaller version of it for my daughter for her birthday. Gorgeous.
What is your favorite wedding trend happening right now? Rustic chic and vintage anything.
Where do you recommend a bride start when planning a wedding to avoid getting overwhelmed? Investing in a wedding planner is a smart idea. If that’s not in the budget, suggest downloading the 12 Month Planning Timeline.
What’s your favorite thing about weddings? I love seeing the couple see each other for the first time whether it’s down the aisle or if they do a “first look.” I love all the day day feels so full of love and happiness. I also love the dress, the flowers, the tablescapes…all the really pretty things.
Cake or Cupcakes? Cake, without a doubt.
