More about Livability’s ranking
Livability’s recent rankings were based on eight categories: housing, amenities, economics, infrastructure, demographics, education, healthcare and social and civic capital.
Livability.com is a website that ranks quality of life and travel amenities across small- to mid-sized cities (population 20,000 to 350,000) across America.
Taking up the lead: music city, Nashville, Tenn. There’s more to Nashville than just music, according to Livability. The economy, hopping downtown, sports teams, educational institutions, ample outdoors and recreational options, health-related companies and great value all contribute toward making Nashville a great place to visit.
A must-see: The County Music Hall of Fame.
