There’s something about a soft, warm, salted pretzel that can’t be beat.
Scratch that. A free pretzel would be even better.
Pretzelmaker is making that a reality on Saturday by giving away free pretzels to celebrate National Pretzel Day. Standard salted or unsalted pretzels are part of the deal.
Technically there are no caveats to this freebie, but Pretzelmaker is trying to raise awareness and funds to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which is attempting to find a cure for blood cancer and ensuring treatment for patients suffering the disease. To that end, the company is encouraging donations in exchange for the free pretzel. And, if the company gives away its goal of 65,000 pretzels, Pretzelmaker will make a “corporate contribution” to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
There are more than 325 Pretzelmaker locations nationwide, so click here to find the one closest to you. Then on Saturday enjoy your pretzel and if you can donate to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, enjoy the satisfaction of a good deed. And that is even better than a free pretzel.
