Retailers get a head start on Cyber Monday
You know that awkward moment when a sales associate asks if you need a gift receipt when you’re shopping for yourself in the months of November and December? Well, the Internet, she doesn’t judge you at check-out.
Online retailers this year aren’t holding out until Cyber Monday to start offering price cuts on apparel. Thirty percent of shoppers surveyed by ShopAtHome.com this year admitted to buying a gift for themselves this holiday season — but only if it’s on sale.
Whether you’re shopping for yourself or others, here are some on-trend deals that are a mouse click away (and don’t require camping on concrete).
For the kids on your shopping list:
The ShopatHome.com survey also found that 72 percent of consumers planned to allocate most of their holiday shopping budget to kids.
Carter’s has a 50 percent-off sale going on with adorable microfleece reindeer pajamas that are ideal for opening gifts in on Christmas morning and they are marked down to $11. This ruffled dress with a bow near the neckline is on sale for $12 and this dapper fair isle sweater for boys is $17.
And, while you’re shopping at Carter’s for clothes to get kids ready for holiday pictures and parties, check out the toys that are also on sale — like this magnetic chalk board for $12 or this dinosaur stamp set for $6.
For the teenagers on your shopping list:
Puffy vests for $15 at Forever 21. They come in a rainbow of colors, ranging from classic black, navy or taupe to a bolder fuchsia, teal or red. They’ll layer great over flannels or patterned sweaters.

Aeropostale is running a 50 percent off everything sale online. Vintage Band T-shirts for guys that are each under $10 and feature Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan and RUN DMC. For girls, Aeropostale has marked down its crochet pull-overs to $24.75.
For him:
