Save up to 75 percent on summer clothes at ‘Pre-Memorial Day’ sales
Some stores are getting ahead of Memorial Day with sales leading up to the holiday. We like that surprise as much as when we get an unexpected balmy day before it’s even summer or find a dollar in the pockets of our jeans.
Memorial Day sales are a great time to find deeply discounted deals on summer staples — like sunglasses, shorts, bathing suits and sundresses. Stores also mark down home goods and furniture around this time of year.
Here’s a round-up of some of the stores getting a head start on summer sales. Buy through ShopAtHome.com and save even more on your favorite brands.
6 p.m.: The store announced that it will be having a four-day pre-Memorial Day sale beginning May 23. (The store will also have a 3-day Memorial Day, too). 6 p.m. will feature a full week of summer looks for men and women up to 75 percent off. Among the 6 p.m. sales: Clarks up to 60 percent off, including Clarks Leisa Taffy Sandals; summer duds featuring Calvin Klein, Free People, Joe’s Jeans and more, including these Joe’s Jeans Denim Shorts for men and this Free People Waterlilly Dress for women.
Macy’s: It’s the “Great American Summer Sale” with the store saluting summer. Major discounts include Ralph Lauren clothes and other designers. Among the deals: Style & Co. T-shirts for $13.99 and Hula Honey reversible swimsuit pieces for under $20. You can also get 10 percent off furniture and mattresses — and reserve your purchase before the sale starts on May 22.
American Eagle Outfitters: Get 40 percent off your online purchase for a limited time. We’re loving the boho-chic pieces at the store, like this bright satin corset dress.
Overstock.com: Get 10 percent off of select garden and patio furniture, living room furniture and dining room furniture.
