Shop Gwyneth Paltrow’s closet! (But you better be rich — and skinny)
We’ll admit it: We’re slightly obsessed with Gwyneth Paltrow’s wardrobe. OK, make that completely obsessed. She’s that sort of perfect mix of classic with a rocker vibe that those who are tall, thin, gorgeous and wealthy can pull off with ease.
Oh, to be tall, thin, gorgeous and wealthy.
Anyway, fellow Gwyneth fans may have noticed that today’s issue of Goop, the actress’s weekly email featuring everything from fashion and shopping advice to health and fitness tips to recipes and travel notes, included a closet cleaning story, and linked to the site’s Charity Closet Sale.
“We’ve edited Gwyneth’s closet and are selling a few choice items,” the site states. “All proceeds go to the three charities we’re supporting this year: The Edible Schoolyard Project, The David Lynch Foundation and Pencils of Promise.”
Yes! We’ve always wondered what it would be like to walk in the star’s Camilla Skovgaard booties, and now we have the chance! Only, it’ll cost us $320. Sigh.
Other previously used items included in the sale: a purple Gucci bag for $900; a Roger Vivier clutch for $2,000; a size 28 Stella McCartney denim skirt for $250; a size 4 Proenza Schouler dress for $450; and a size 6 The Row blazer for $800.
Actually, $320 to soak up some of that Gwyneth style might not be such a bad investment, after all.
