Founded back in n 2010 by American Express as a way to help small businesses drum up more customers, Small Business Saturday takes place on Nov. 29 this year. And while the day encourages shoppers to “shop small,” it’s also a great day for small businesses, themselves, to take advantage of expanded Black Friday and Cyber Week deals.
