‘Sons of Anarchy’ style: Take a fall motorcycle vacation

“Sons of Anarchy,” everyone’s favorite drama about an outlaw motorcycle club, kicked off season 6 on Fox earlier this month.
That means we’re all daydreaming about hopping on the back of a growing bike and booking it across America.
If you’ve been bitten (or devoured) by the SAMCRO bug, here are some ways to plan a motorcycle vacation this fall in California, where SOA is based. Just not in the made-up town of Charming, Calif.
Oh, and stay out of trouble along the way.
1. California Motorcycle Tours.
These guided tours throughout Cali and the west are “fly and ride.” In other words, bike, fuel, food and accommodations are included in the package. Most tours begin and end in San Diego. Also ask about their custom and self-guided tours.
Choose your own Harley model and cruise for three to 13 days, hitting about 200 miles of road per day.

Rent a motorcycle for a guided or self-guided tour, complete with arranged maps and hotel accommodations, based on your riding style and preferences: budget, how many miles you want to ride per day and more. California Motorcycle Adventures is located between San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose.
