The Spa Travel Gal’s best comfy clothes for travel
By Aimee Heckel
The Spa Travel Gal, Ava Roxanne Stritt, recently gave us her top recommendations for accessories to make your next travel experience more comfortable.
Discomfort is one of the biggest complaints by travelers, according to a survey by the Transportation Security Administration.
Your clothes can also make a big difference in your level of comfort, says Stritt, whom we talk to every month to get her favorite luxury travel tips and ideas.
Here is Stritt’s take on comfortable — and fashionable — travel attire.
For the plane ride: Tribut clothes.
Tribut Apparel is a unique clothing line that fuses music, art and fashion.
“I recently wore mine on a trip to London, and they were so comfortable I almost felt like I was in my PJs,” Stritt says. “They are minimalist in a creative, fashionable, functional, economical way.”
She wore this halftone cow-print V-neck, $35, from Tribut’s F.A.R.M. fall line to a spa one day. And on a particularly awful 12-hour red-eye flight, Stritt says she survived with the help of this Tribut shirt, featuring a pig wearing headphones, $39.
For the holiday party once you arrive: It Works Wrap.
“We all want our clothes to fit nicely and accentuate the positives,” Stritt says.
If you’re looking for a way to make that waistline to fit a little more comfortably, Stritt recommends applying an It Works Wrap before you leave. She says it really does work (hence the name) help reduce your waistline, and help you rock your skinny jeans or that LBD or cocktail dress.
