Steph Said What? blogger takes us on her journey into adulthood
When we came across Steph, the young woman behind the new lifestyle blog, Steph Said What?, we couldn’t help but giggle. Her posts are funny, sweet, honest and give us a peek into the life of a recent college grad trying to make it in the world of adulthood. Meet Steph …
Where I’m based: Charlotte, N.C.
How long I’ve been blogging: I’m a newbie. I’ve only been at it for a little over two months now.
Blog basics: I struggle with explaining my blog. I guess the best way would be to say that it’s just my overly sarcastic view on everyday things. I’m still working on finding my voice and trying to have a good time along the way.
Other blogs I love: The Daily Tay, Don’t Quote The Raven, I Wore Yoga Pants to Work, The Lauren Elizabeth, The Small Things, A Beautiful Mess
Guilty pleasure: ABC Family shows: Pretty Little Liars, Secret Life of An American Teenager, Switched at Birth … I love them all!
Last thing I bought: I’m going on vacation in two weeks, so I just stocked up on travel sizes of all my beauty essentials to bring along.
What are your favorite places to shop? I go to Target at least three times a week. If it didn’t mean I would be homeless, you could cross out Target and put Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Madewell or Nordstrom.
How would you define your style? Casual chic. I just know that I love a good hoodie and skinny jeans. If I’m feeling fancy I’ll put a blouse on, but always with my casual jeans.
What is one thing in your closet that you will never get rid of? I have a pair of Seven For All Mankind straight-leg jeans that I just can’t throw away. Embarrassingly enough, I just ripped a huge hole in the butt for the third time. There’s this awesome company out of New York City, Denim Therapy, that works magic on fixing jeans. I probably could have bought several new pairs with the money I’ve spent on shipping and repairs but they are just so comfortable!
What trend are you loving right now? With The Great Gatsby just coming out, I’m really hoping that ’20s fashion will turn into everyday styles and outfits. Everyone in that movie looked absolutely gorgeous!
Do you give a lot of high fives in real life? My dog counts right? I have a cute little Maltese named Pearl that loves to high five. I don’t think I will ever get enough of seeing her little paws giving high fives.
